For someone who is picky about good haircuts, I do not usually walk out a hair salon feeling happy. Thats the reason I do salon hopping every 3-4 months for years. Today I got a fresh haircut at Ming Wong Hair design, and happy to say I may have found my hair person. Ming spent 10 mins with me communicating the length, and the style I wanted to achieve. She sculpted my hair with her scissors and created a style that is simple, classy and easy to style. The result is better than I have expected. She is easy to talk to, and easy to like. I will go back to Ming when my hair is due for another cut.

Ming is the best hair stylist.
She has been cutting my hair for a few years and I would travel from sf to Dublin to see her. Her cuts are the best I've EVER had! I like a really low maintenance style that I can wash and wear and Ming always delivers ease without compromising style. And they grow out so beautifully! And beyond all the professional strengths she is just a delight to be around. Warm, engaging, kind, talented and professional. Truly an incredible stylist that you will want to see again and again!

I am very happy with my haircut by Ming. She has more than 20 years of experience, and for the first time, I found somebody who knows how to cut my hair. My hair has a fine and limp texture, I need a hairdresser who knows how to layer and cut my hair to give volume naturally without any mousse or hair spray. She knows how to cut and style my fringe to hide my very high forehead. After washing my hair at home, my hair still looks good and bouncy. Highly recommended. Very happy customer indeed.

Ming took one look at my hair and knew exactly what kind of shampoo and treatment it needed. I had quite a bit of thinning in the back and my hair gets oily very quickly. Not only did Ming explain in detail what I should do to help with these problems, she also did a fantastic job with cutting, layering, and adding volume to my hair. Ming's been cutting my hair for the past 23 years. It's taken me so long to write this only because I never even bothered to look at her website until now!
My hair is straight and fine, and I'm petite, so a short cut is the best for me. Over the years, I've tried slightly different styles that she's suggested, based on my hair type, how it grows, and my facial shape. I've now had my same haircut for at least the past 7(?) years and continue to receive compliments from strangers, as well as people I know. I love my hairstyle, which is both flattering and super easy to maintain. The products she's suggested also work well to keep my hair healthy, as well as give it more lift, volume and hold without being stiff or heavy.
Ming is a genuinely nice, hard-working, and easy-going person, who always greets you with a big smile. She works quickly, efficiently, and expertly. She doesn't lather you with superlatives like some other stylists, who do so for both their own and their clients' egos.
Ming, you're the best! My friend, I will miss you and my haircuts when you retire!
